John,

Antifa is working overtime to end the free exchange of ideas on college
campuses all over the country.

And right now, they’re directing their anti-speech hatred to shut down Andy
Ngo.

Again.

As you may know, Andy is one of the bravest investigative journalists in
America, and he is responsible for exposing Antifa as a violent terrorist
organization.

The Center for American Liberty is representing him as he seeks justice
against the Antifa thugs who brutally assaulted, and nearly killed him for
exercising his First Amendment rights as a journalist.

Now, Antifa is leveling its attacks against student’s right to host speakers
with a diverse range of ideas.

Andy was scheduled to speak to a group of conservative students at Dartmouth
College on January 20th.

But as soon as Antifa got wind of this event, they made a coordinated attempt
to harass and threaten attendees and school administrators online.

From the very beginning, their goal was to ensure that Andy wasn’t allowed to
speak.

And unfortunately, Dartmouth gave them exactly what they wanted.

After receiving vague, violent threats, Dartmouth canceled Andy’s in-person
speaking event and relegated it an online only format.

You see, this is what’s known as the Heckler’s Veto.

Leftist speakers are allowed to speak on campus, but conservative speakers are
denied the ability to speak.

The most infuriating part about all of this is that Dartmouth College has vast
resources to run security, and local law enforcement is always on standby to
assist.

In other words, Dartmouth College administrators decided to give Antifa what
they want.

Not because they couldn’t secure the event....

… But because they don’t want anything but leftist ideas to be shared on their
campus.

John, this leads me to the question I have for you today...

Do you think colleges should let the Heckler’s Veto from leftist organizations
dictate their event schedule?
YES

NO

This is something that you may not know about me.

Dartmouth College is my alma mater.

Watching administrators of the school that I called home is heartbreaking and
discouraging.

But not surprising....

When I attended Dartmouth, two editors of the Dartmouth Review and a
photographer were suspended for writing an article critical of a music
professor. They filed a lawsuit and were ultimately reinstated.

This experience inspired me to go into law and to advocate for Americans’
First Amendment rights because I saw firsthand the impact of attorneys.

But clearly some things never change.

Dartmouth administrators are still censoring the free exchange of ideas.

You see, the left is obsessed with pushing its radical ideology on students
and censoring conservatives.

But this is one of the reasons I’m so encouraged by your support of the Center
for American Liberty.

With your help, we’re demanding justice for Andy Ngo and bringing Antifa
radicals to justice.

I cannot thank you enough for all that you do.

Sincerely,

Harmeet K. Dhillon
