Team,
To me, Kentucky is home. I grew up here. I started my career here. And I’m raising my family here.
I’m going to tell you more about why this fight for Kentucky means so much to me, but first: will you chip in $5 right now to my people-powered campaign?
I was born in Anchorage, Kentucky. My mom was an elementary school teacher, and my dad practiced law. Growing up, they always encouraged the importance of hard work, ethics, and honesty. I carry those lessons with me every day of my life.
Whether I was studying journalism in college or practicing law, my goal was always to find truth in any given situation and to solve the issue at hand. Now, as I fight to keep Louisville and the House blue, I can’t ignore the truth of our situation.
The truth is that our criminal justice system is in desperate need of reform.
The truth is that the climate change crisis is getting worse every day without a plan to stop it.
The truth is that women’s reproductive rights are under constant attack by anti-choice fanatics.
The truth is, if we want to solve these problems, we have to stand together.
I’m running for Congress to bring the lessons I learned from my parents to Washington. I’m determined to amplify the truth so that the issues we’re facing get solved.
This is going to be one of the toughest election years Democrats have ever faced. We have less than 11 months to go before Election Day, and we can’t afford to lose momentum for even a moment if we want to hold onto our House majority and keep Kentucky’s only blue district.
So can I count on you to chip in $5 to my grassroots campaign?
Let’s get to work,
Morgan McGarvey
