Why this is critical: Despite being investigated by the FBI, Cuellar has refused to back down and said he’s “committed to winning.” To show him that his constituents are serious about having Jessica Cisneros as their representative instead of him, we’re on a mission to raise $18,000 by January 31st.

Henry Cuellar has a lot of powerful backers behind him. In the last election, he had a ton of support from the Koch donor network, Big Oil companies, the largest private prison network Geo Group, the Club for Growth (a Trump-aligned PAC), and big corporate PACs.
In order for someone like Jessica Cisneros to win a race like this, we need to completely outnumber all those rich and powerful people with tens of thousands of grassroots supporters fighting for a progressive agenda.
In spite of all the obstacles and being outspent, we came just a couple of thousand votes short of a huge upset in the last election. This time, we’re going to win. But only if Jessica gets support from grassroots activists like you.
