Let me be
clear — Americans should not have to leave their hometowns in order to
seek opportunity or build wealth.

Yet, 50% of digital service jobs are located in only 10 metropolitan areas
due to the lack of affordable broadband internet. In one of the wealthiest
nations in the world, this is unacceptable.

I am running for re-election because I want to close that digital divide
and I have a plan to get us there. [ [link removed] ]Will you chip into my re-election
campaign so I can continue fighting for important infrastructure
advancements in Congress?

By 2025, our nation should have provided affordable high-speed internet for
every American community. We have skilled, brilliant, hard-working people all
across the country, and access to a good internet connection shouldn’t stop them
from being able to succeed.

We also should not force Americans to make the choice between abandoning
their communities in order to make a decent living in the tech industry.
Decentralizing the digital economy can help American towns strike a
balance between fostering community and embracing change.

I believe this is a prosperous future all representatives should want for
their constituents. [ [link removed] ]If you share this vision, please contribute to my
campaign today so I can continue to fight adamantly for it.
