In case you missed it, last week the Wall Street Journal wrote about my bill to close a major loophole in state law that excludes legislative staff from protection under the state’s sexual harassment law. 

This past year, I’ve made combating sexual harassment in the workplace a major priority - and thankfully after years of stalled efforts, we succeeded in lowering the impermissibly high burden of proof to prove a claim of sexual harassment. But as my bill goes to show, we still have much more work to do to break down the barriers that prevent people from living in a harassment free New York.
