Trigger Warning: White Supremacist Violence

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

John,

Ever since Cori was elected to Congress, white supremacists have been
furious at our movement to save Black lives and have made countless
violent threats on Cori's life.

Today, Fox News advocated for Cori to face violence on live TV. Here are
just a few quotes from the segment:

"The harsh truth is we need these lawmakers to be victims."

"I'm not praying that any of these people get hurt or harmed, BUT..."

"We would never wish any harm whatsoever on any American, let alone a
politician we disagreed with. BUT..."

John, we know
that this is hard to read, but this is just one example of the threats
Cori faces every day. Since Cori's first day in office the GOP, Fox News,
and right-wing media groups have made Cori a top target of their false,
racist attacks.

Just know: They won't stop us. They can't. But this attack has made it
even more clear to us that as we make progress in our work to deliver
justice and freedom for all — white supremacists plan on fighting harder
than ever to slow down our movement. Cori needs our support to overcome
this attack:

[ [link removed] ]Will you donate $5 or more to help power Cori's work in
Congress to save Black lives, transform our system of public safety, and
dismantle systemic racism in our country? Your donation sends a loud
message to white supremacists that this movement isn't slowing down.

This isn't the first time Fox News has openly broadcasted hateful, racist
speech on live TV. Last year, Tucker Carlson viciously attacked Cori
stating "Missouri Congresswoman Cori Bush...could never have a job in the
real world because she's not smart enough for a real job."

John, it's
dangerous to ignore this pattern. Fox News profits off of misinformation,
conspiracy theories, fear-mongering, and racism, so they will continue to
sell — and spread — this hateful speech far and wide, inciting others to
make threats on Cori's life.

Cori's not backing down from her work, and we're determined to show
everyone that we will not be intimidated by these attacks. We will not
slow down in our mission to dismantle systemic racism in America and pass
transformative policies that lift ALL of our communities up. But we're up
against the far-right and Fox News, so Cori needs this people-powered
movement to have her back.

[ [link removed] ]Please, can you chip in $5 or anything you can to show
your support for Cori? We're relying on grassroots supporters like
you, John, to
help keep Cori in Congress organizing and legislating in defense of Black
lives and livelihoods.

In solidarity,

Team Cori
