Our first major fundraising deadline of 2022 is on Monday, January 31st, and in a moment we’re going to ask you to chip in $3 to help us reach our goal of 1,700 grassroots contributions and start this election year off strong.
But first, we want to share three of the top reasons why Ayanna needs your support today.
Here’s why your $3 contribution today is so important:
With the midterm elections just months away, Ayanna is doubling down on her goal of building an even bigger Squad in Congress and electing folx committed to advancing bold, transformative policy on issues of consequence for our communities.
The GOP hasn’t wasted any time revving up attacks against Ayanna and our campaign for progress. Last year, House Republicans introduced a resolution to censure our Congresswoman, and conservative PACs funded text messaging campaigns to spread disinformation about Ayanna and our movement. Now, the GOP is gearing up to try to unseat Ayanna and stifle her work in Congress.
In order to keep our movement strong and protect Ayanna’s seat, we need to hit every fundraising target we set ahead of the midterm elections, including our January targets. And that means reaching 1,700 contributions by Monday, to ensure we can fund our organizing program, pay our staff, and invest in the digital tools our campaign needs to reach and engage folx across the MA-07. That’s why we’re counting on you to step up today.
Right now, we’re still 209 contributions short of our goal, so we have to ask: Can you make a $3 contribution right now to help us fight back against the attacks on Ayanna and our movement and keep Ayanna in Congress fighting for all of us?
