Our first monthly fundraising deadline of this election year is approaching, and we’ve set an ambitious goal: $10,000 from grassroots supporters like you. I want to be honest about why we’ve set this goal. You see, it’s going to take a lot to defeat a corrupt, self-serving, multi-millionaire in Ryan Zinke. But if we continue building our momentum, we are going to have a real shot at winning this thing.

While Ryan Zinke is spending his days in California raking in kickbacks from his time in government, I am staying right here in Montana, where I work for my living and work to earn the vote of everyone I can – from any side of the political spectrum.

I’ve met with countless Montanans in recent weeks, and the overwhelming message I’ve received from voters is that life just isn’t as stable as it used to be. Our communities are still suffering from this pandemic, both economically and from a public health perspective.

At a time that is so uncertain for so many Montana families, we need a representative who is focused on building trust and loyalty with Montanans – not with Donald Trump and the far-right GOP who are trying to unravel our democracy.

Another thing I’ve been hearing a lot from voters is that they are anxious about the future and are having a hard time believing that we can return some stability to our community. The main reason we’re feeling this way is because billionaires are ruling our state and our government – and they sure as hell don’t care about making life any easier for working class folks like you and me.

Because of everything billionaires and corrupt politicians have done to shake our system, 56% of Americans can’t afford a $1,000 emergency, according to CNBC. Take a moment to think about that. Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Ryan Zinke can make endless amounts of money – but a majority of Americans are a second away from total financial havoc.

I believe that the corrupt class’s days of power are numbered – but only if we work together. That starts by electing a representative who will work tirelessly to stop them.
