The conflict in Yemen has made it difficult for people to afford basic health care, and many medical clinics lack electricity or running water. Mercy Corps helped Nojood’s community build a new medical clinic serving approximately 7,000 people, including Rabab who received treatment for malnourishment and fever. Thanks to the care she received, Rabab’s health improved, and she gained over 2 lbs in two weeks. "If the clinic wasn't here, I could not treat my daughters, because we don't have enough money for that," Nojood says.
The generosity of our global community, including our Partners In Possibility (the new name for our monthly giving program), helps us build clinics like the one in Yemen, respond immediately to disasters,
and support income and growth opportunities for women working at businesses like Teenah.
