stopping the criminalization of poverty and substance misuse, and stopping
prosecutions of low-level offenses.

working for transformative justice in their communities, this is what we
meant.

Prior to winning his election in 2018, Wesley was a public defender and
has been on the forefront of transforming what justice looks like in St.
Louis, from working to reduce crime to expanding options that are
alternatives to incarceration.

Wesley is EXACTLY the kind of justice champion we need to keep in office
so he can keep building on the work he has done and building power along
with our other DAs across the country.
