CLASP Makes Recommendations on Reunifying Families

CLASP, along with First Focus on Children, Children’s Defense Fund, The Children’s Partnership, and Save the Children, submitted a comment on January 24, 2022, in response to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s request for public input in supporting the work of the Interagency Task Force on the Reunification of Families. The comment letter calls for an end to all ongoing enforcement actions at the border and the interior that continue to harm children and families.

On January 19, Nia West-Bey presented on a panel organized by MTV's mental health advisory network on the state of youth and young adult mental health.

 

On January 14, Tiffany Ferrette and Alycia Hardy spoke on a panel entitled “Strategies for a More Equitable Child Care Agenda” at the National Women’s Law Center Annual Meeting. They discussed strategies for advancing equity for families, providers, and communities with COVID recovery and relief funding.
