MARCH ON is dedicated to increasing voter turnout and driving Democrats to the polls. Our data-driven solutions helped defeat Donald Trump in in 2020. Now, we're gearing up to hold the House and Senate in 2022 to advance our progressive agenda.

Dear friend,

After months of debate and compromises in Congress, the Senate still failed to pass the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act last week.

While this is an especially disappointing result for the thousands of voting rights activists and advocates across the country, who poured immeasurable amounts of time and effort into the passage of this act, it is not the end of our fight.

48 Democratic Senators stood strong to defend voting rights – but 2 Democrats, Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, did not. And all 50 Republican Senators refused to support voting rights legislation.

So we’re holding them accountable. This week, we’re calling our Senators to make our voice heard about the results of the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act vote.

Here’s how it works:

Call (202) 224-3121 and connect to your Senator’s office.

If your Senator voted in favor of passing the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act (48 Senate Democrats): thank them for their leadership and encourage them to keep fighting to protect our freedom to vote.

If your Senator voted against the act (all Senate Republicans, plus Senators Manchin and Sinema): express your disappointment with their decision to protect voter suppression laws rather than our sacred right to vote.

We’re keeping the pressure on our Senators to make sure they know that voting against the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act puts them on the wrong side of history. We hope you will join us in our effort to keep our elected officials accountable.

Thank you for using your voice,
