The trial of Päivi Räsänen began in Helsinki yesterday morning. Her cause is important to all of us because it can set a precedent for silencing Christians, censoring the Bible and restricting our freedom of speech.

After all, what is her sin for which she was interrogated three times and charged?

She quoted from the Bible.

The Finnish MP Päivi Räsänen has been charged because of quoting what the Bible says about homosexual acts, and she faces a 2 year jail sentence. Mrs Räsänen's trial began yesterday in Helsinki and the prosecutor's case is intense.
