There's still time to grab a ticket for Birds and Words with Bill Young

January 27, 2022

When: February 15, 17, & 22, 2022, 7:00 – 8:00 PM
Where: Online!
Fee: $25 member; $35 non-member

If you were in an airplane waiting for takeoff, would you be concerned if you saw a haggard-looking pilot mumbling jargon while walking to the cockpit? The roots of haggard, jargon, and cockpit are all connected to birds, as are expressions such as to "bat an eye" and to "turn tail." Many expressions have either bird or a type of bird in them. Help us spread the word about this fun upcoming event!
