Our first fundraising deadline of the year is just four days away. Let me explain why it's so important:

Right now, losing one single seat in the Senate could derail our entire Democratic agenda. And everything we do between now and November 8 will determine whether or not we can defend -- and expand -- our Democratic majority in the Senate.

But if we're going to grow our majority beyond 50-50 and keep making historic progress for the American people, we can't afford to fall behind in our fundraising.

That's why I'm humbly asking: Before January 31, our first deadline of 2022, please chip in $10 or more to help defend and expand the Democratic Senate majority.

We need to raise $30,000 more before the end of January to fight back against Mitch McConnell and the GOP's efforts to take back control of the Senate. Their dark money backers are already pouring money into competitive races, and it's critical that we have the resources to fight back.

But as we've seen, it's not just about defending our majority. We also need to expand it.
