Team – Twelve years ago, the Supreme Court handed down their decision on Citizens United v. FEC and changed our democracy forever.

Its consequences have been devastating. Citizens United has opened the floodgates for large corporations and dark money interest groups to pump millions of dark money donations to determine election outcomes against the will of the voters.

Anthony voted for and called on the Senate to pass H.R. 1 – For the People Act – to combat the corruption in our politics so that our government works for and represents the people. And he’ll continue to lead the fight as our next Attorney General.

That’s why our campaign is teaming up with Democrats around the country to demand a constitutional amendment that would overturn Citizens United. Can we count on you to sign the petition to end Citizens United and get big money out of politics?

As Anthony continues his fight to reduce the influence of money in our politics, we need to make it clear that our democracy is not for sale. Our government shouldn’t just work for the wealthy and well-connected, and the wealthiest among us who have the ability to make a donation to a Super PAC in order to buy an election. It should work for ALL of us.
