I’ve been thinking a lot about an analogy to describe this kind of campaign and I’ve landed on this particular one again and again:
David vs. Goliath.
We don’t have the power that Kevin McCarthy does, or the influence, or the money.
But we make up for that in our grassroots energy and our collective power to finally push for someone in Washington that fights for the people of California’s 23rd District.
We have a movement fighting for veterans to get the care they deserve. We have a movement fighting to end racial and economic disparities in our schools. We have a movement fighting to clean up the toxic water in Bakersfield and stop our communities from being poisoned.
Long story short, we’re David. And in the end, David defeats Goliath despite the odds. We can build a better future for all of us here in California’s 23rd District. But to do that, it will take every single one of us. Chip in a few bucks and help us defeat our Goliath in November.

We know we’re on the right side of history.
We’re fighting for people all across the Central Valley and we’re doing it by presenting solutions to the long-lasting problems that Kevin McCarthy has failed to solve while he’s been in Washington for over ten years.
Instead, he’s been fighting on behalf of his corporate donors and willfully letting his party get more and more extreme, bending to the will of people like Donald Trump, and forgetting about the people right here in our district.
Here’s my promise. I will never forget our community. I will never stop fighting for us. And I know the only way we can get our movement to Congress is if all of us play a part in those efforts.
