Friend, after hearing the news that Justice Breyer plans to step down, I thought of something I'll never forget: how Mitch McConnell, Marco Rubio and the Republican Party stole a Supreme Court seat from President Obama.

Now, Mitch McConnell is threatening to block whomever President Biden nominates to the Supreme Court.

That's why Democrats cannot afford to hand our Senate majority, and the power to confirm Supreme Court nominees along with it, back to Mitch McConnell in November. But experts say the road to Senate control runs through Florida, and my race to unseat Marco Rubio could very well determine the future of the Supreme Court. 

Mitch McConnell just raked in more than $90 million to take back the Senate, so I set an emergency rapid-response goal of raising $100,000 by midnight tonight – but time is running out and I am NOT on track to get the resources I need to win this race. 

I'm counting on committed Democrats like you now: Will you rush $5 or more to help me defeat Marco Rubio, defend our Democratic Senate majority and protect the Supreme Court?
