John, last year Republicans introduced more than 440 laws restricting voting rights across the country, and they successfully passed new restrictions in multiple states — including here in Florida.

I’m continuing to fight every day to protect and expand voting rights in Florida and across the country, and today I need to ask for your help in that fight.

This month I fought back against this ongoing assault on American democracy alongside my Democratic colleagues in the House by helping pass legislation to make Election Day a federal holiday, end partisan gerrymandering, guarantee no-excuse mail-in voting, and more.

But John, Senate Republicans decided to trample on the basic rights of the American people by blocking this common sense legislation.
