Now that 2021 is in the rear-view mirror, we thought we’d take a minute to reflect on the challenges public transportation faced—and how Voices for Public Transit members worked together to turn those challenges into opportunities.
Ultimately, thanks to the efforts of Voices for Public Transit members nationwide, we were able to help secure funding through both short-term pandemic emergency relief as well as long-term infrastructure investments. These policy victories are all the more remarkable considering the immense obstacles public transportation faced in 2020.
