Dear friend of TLC,

We know the beginning of the year is often a time of setting new intentions and making plans. In that spirit, Transgender Law Center wants to offer a reminder of a simple way you can start the new year off that supports you, your loved ones, and TLC's purpose.

Last week we reached out to share a free tool for creating a will or revocable living trust. Completing this step can help you:

• Ensure your family, chosen family, and pets can always count on you
• Exercise agency over important decisions in your life, including identifying beneficiaries for your assets
• If you choose, pledge future support for TLC's work for trans liberation, with no impact to your current resources

While you create your plans, you can create a legacy that includes Transgender Law Center by establishing an optional planned gift to ensure our work continues for years to come. No matter what you choose to include in your plans, I hope you'll take this opportunity to write your will to help protect those you love, in 2022 and beyond.
