Dear Friend, |
You can help save wolves in Wisconsin from being slaughtered. |
Last February, Wisconsin hunters used dog packs, snares, and leg-hold traps to kill 218 wolves in just three days, exceeding the limits set by the state’s own hunting quota. |
Now, with nearly a third of the state’s wolves dead, Wisconsin state officials are pushing for another hunt with a plan to kill hundreds more wolves. |
Thanks to a lawsuit, their proposal has temporarily been put on hold. But state officials continue to press for more wolf hunting and Wisconsin’s wolves are not out of danger. |
That’s where you come in, Friend. |
Our Biodiversity Defense Program is fighting against this hunt and pushing for permanent protections for gray wolves in the U.S., and we need reliable supporters to ensure that we can continue on in court. |
Will you be one of the 150 new monthly donors we need to protect wolves and other wildlife under threat? |
|
This is one of the most impactful times to deepen your commitment. A generous donor has agreed to contribute $50,000 to Earthjustice if we can bring on 150 new monthly donors by the end of January. As of today, we still need 97 supporters to come on board to reach our goal and unlock this crucial funding. |
Your monthly gift will fund:
- Our court case representing six Ojibwe tribes who say the proposed Wisconsin wolf hunt violates their treaty rights.
- Our court case challenging the Trump administration’s decision to remove Endangered Species Act protections for gray wolves across the lower 48 states.
- Earthjustice’s work fighting for a healthier future for wolves and all other species that call our planet home.
|
Friend, your reliable support makes all the difference. Please make a monthly gift today and be a part of the fight to stop this and future wolf hunts. |

Sincerely,
