Aloha HRP ‘Ohana,

We have an emergency Pau Hana THURSDAY happening tomorrow!

The Democratic legislature is wasting no time trying to push bills through. Now more than ever, because the capitol is closed to the public, we need to make sure to have a sharp eye on what’s going on.

On Friday, Senate Bill 2018 will be up for vote in the Ways & Means committee. This bill would establish that starting October 2022 and over a 3 year and 3-month period, this bill would mandate an increase of the minimum wage from $10.10/hr. to $18.00/hr.

Please join Ericjordan Kamanu and I to talk about the bill and how to take action to have our voices heard in the legislature.

Join in on the conversation we will see you soon! 6:30 PM on Facebook.

What is Pau Hana Friday’s?

It’s a live-stream video-cast, every other Friday, where the Hawaii Republican Party gives a platform to talk about Hawaii politics local kine style.

We plan to invite some special guests to partake in the conversation and be open for a live Q&A. The participants tuning in can make their comments and ask their questions!

You can find the streaming on our HRP Facebook.

If you miss it… that’s ok! Because the livestream will be archived as a playback video on our page to watch for future reference.

With this livestream, we hope to amplify voices that stand for our values and increase communication with those within our party and normal everyday residents in the State of Hawai’i.

If you are interested, and want to fight for Hawai’i on our communications team, fill out this volunteer form and we will get you plugged in.
