BREAKING NEWS: Joe Biden pledged to nominate a Black woman to the Supreme Court. The time has come to act on that promise! 

Did you see the announcement, John? Supreme Court Justice Breyer is officially stepping down at the end of this term. 

That means the door is open to get a Biden nominee on the Supreme Court, energize the progressive minority of justices already on the bench, and start turning the battle for our fundamental rights in our favor. But that door will slam shut in a heartbeat unless we act NOW.

During his campaign, President Biden said: "If I'm elected president and have an opportunity to appoint someone to the courts, I'll appoint the first Black woman to the courts. It's required that they have representation now. It's long overdue."

We couldn’t agree more! This would be a HUGE step toward real, powerful representation at the highest level – and exactly what we need to start breaking the ultra-conservative SCOTUS majority.
