Fellow Conservative,
You’ve probably heard about our new podcast––On Air with Heritage Action––where we break down in 5 minutes or less how you can get involved today in the fight for conservative values.

But, you may have some questions that need to be answered:

What actually is a podcast?

And how do I listen?

If you’ve had those questions, be sure to read through so that you can make the most of this new and exciting resource!
What is a podcast?
A podcast is an audio recording on any topic imaginable and is organized by episodes. For example, our podcast so far has 16 episodes, with each episode consisting of a 5 minute long audio recording on different issues going on in Capitol Hill.

Podcasts are also free and on-demand. Let’s break that down:

Imagine listening to a show on the radio––say Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze. You have to turn on the radio, go to the correct station, and listen to the program at the exact time it airs on the radio––there are no recordings.

Podcasts are different. They’re not on the radio, they’re on different smartphone apps you may have heard of like Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and others.

You don’t have to listen to podcasts live in real time! They’re recorded so you can download the episodes and listen whenever you want and on whatever device you want.
How do I listen?
You can listen to our podcast on any device. Let’s break down how…

Smartphone (or iPad):

- Open up your podcast app. For iPhones, open up the app “Podcasts.” For Android phones, open up the app “Google Podcasts.” If you don’t have either app, download it in your app store for free! (Note: you can also use these instructions for the app “Spotify” if you have an account, but you have to pay for a subscription.)

- Click the search button and search for “On Air with Heritage Action.” Click on our show!

- Alternatively, you can SKIP steps 1 - 2 by going to HeritageAction.com/Podcast <[link removed]> on your mobile device. Click the appropriate button on the page (“Apple” for iPhones, “Google” for Androids) and you’ll be redirected to the app on your phone.

- Now you can browse through all of our past episodes and play whichever one you’d like.

- Make sure to click SUBSCRIBE. By subscribing to our podcast, every new episode will be automatically downloaded to your phone and you’ll get a notification when a new episode is released!

Computer: Podcasts are designed to be listened to on your phone, but we also adapted it for the screen so you can watch the podcast if you’d like!

- Go to HeritageAction.com/Podcast <[link removed]>.

- The latest video version of the podcast will be easily identifiable on the page, so just click play!

- Past videos of our podcast are available on our YouTube <[link removed]> and Rumble <[link removed]> pages. There are buttons to these two pages at HeritageAction.com/Podcast <[link removed]>.

It’s that easy!

Be sure to listen to our latest episode released today <[link removed]> on Associate Justice Stephen Breyer’s retirement announcement!

And make sure to subscribe so that you can stay in the know and learn how to take action on conservative priorities going through Congress.
