Joe Biden may “make no apologies” for Afghanistan, but he should apologize to every service member whose lives he endangered by putting a PR goal ahead of a strategic military objective.
A big speech to mark the anniversary of 9/11 wasn’t worth 13 lives.
What Joe Biden ultimately did last year was show that the words “No Man Left Behind” mean absolutely nothing to him. It also shows that Joe Biden is undeserving of having the words “Commander” or “Chief” anywhere near his job description.
I know this personally… I was one of more than 20,000 United States veterans wounded in this mission. I shed blood in Afghanistan because I was fully prepared to risk life and limb in the name of protecting freedom.
Since then, I have stood proudly on my metal legs, and I’ve been fighting to get facts and accountability in front of the American people!
