Today, Justice Breyer announced that he’ll be retiring from his position on the Supreme Court after serving for nearly three decades. He’s served with integrity and distinction, protecting Americans' civil rights, upholding the rule of law, and defending the vital independence of the judiciary. I’m profoundly grateful for his service.

This news is another reminder of why holding onto our Senate majority is so important.

With a Senate majority, we can nominate Supreme Court justices that reflect our shared values like protecting voting rights and the environment.

But that’s also why National Republicans have made seats like mine a top target and why they raised more than $100 million in 2021 to take back the Senate.

It’s more important than ever that we maintain our Senate majority and today, I’m hoping you’ll chip in a few dollars to help us do just that.
