Come & meet other Democrats & local civic leaders. Talk about local campaigns and issues that EDC Democrats are working on in El Dorado County.

The California Away Team (CAT) and the El Dorado County Democrats have a voter reactivation model that can raise voting rates by 7-10% as measured by our success in the 2018 midterms. It doesn't take millions of dollars, it doesn't take long conversations, it just takes canvassers asking individuals to sign a pledge to vote.
We're out in the community talking with and motivating Democrats and independent voters to participate in our democracy and turn this ship around!

Guest speakers: (1) Tressa Cooper and Kathleen West, co-leaders of the Folsom Foothills chapter of Moms Demand Action. (2) Bill O'Neill, Registrar of Voters for El Dorado County and Linda Webster, Assistant Registrar of Voters. Bill and Linda will be sharing the changes to elections in El Dorado County, the Voter's Choice Act (SB 450) and how it has guided changes in EDC's voting system, selection, benefits and cost of the new system, voting system security, etc.
