Big news, folks.
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer is retiring.
I am grateful to Justice Breyer for his service on the Court. Now we must look ahead to its future. It is absolutely critical that our next justice will enforce the law and serve the people — not the interests of corporations. I look forward to sitting down with President Biden’s eventual nominee to ensure they are the right person for this critical position.
But make no mistake, folks: To confirm a Supreme Court justice who will respect our democracy and American values, we must defend Democrats’ razor-thin Senate majority. Will you pitch in as we prepare for the fight ahead?

News like this underscores why it’s crucial we defend our majority in 2022. We can’t afford to turn back the progress we’ve made by letting Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans appoint another justice to the Court.
Thanks for anything you’re able to pitch in to help.
