→ And on January 29, Donald Trump will be in Texas to rally his supporters!
We need to act now. Trump’s visit is sure to rile up far-right activists and spur them to register more Republican voters. We have to fight back by registering as many young, Latinx, overwhelmingly Democratic voters before the deadline!
Here’s the deal: Experts have been saying Texas could go blue for years. Republicans are terrified of that prospect (hence their efforts to suppress the vote and gerrymander district maps). They know that young progressive Latinx voters could lead to a Democratic victory for candidates like Beto O’Rourke in Texas, just like they did in Arizona and Georgia in the 2020 Senate elections!
Our job is to make it happen. How? By scaling up the same strategy we used in Arizona and Georgia -- targeting young Latinos, reaching out, registering them to vote, and then mobilizing them ahead of Election Day.
