Let’s be clear: national Republican leaders are signaling that a GOP win in November will be the end of an effective January 6th committee. This shows a dangerous lack of regard for justice and the lawful process of investigation. With the GOP in charge, we might never get answers about what really happened that day.
Oversight is key to a functioning Congress, folks. Republicans have expressed they’re not interested in answers about January 6th, stopping the spread of COVID-19, or steering American industries safely through economic uncertainty.
