Did you see the news? Earlier today, Justice Breyer announced that he was retiring from the Supreme Court.

Democrats can confirm Justice Breyer’s replacement with 50 votes. But we know from experience that Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans will not make this process easy.

Until we confirm a new justice, the team here at Maine Dems will be fighting our hardest to prevent Susan Collins, Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans from obstructing the nomination process.
