John,
I have big plans for our state during the legislative session, including to:
- Axe the state food sales tax without raising taxes for Kansas families;
- Put money back into the pockets of 2021 taxpayers with an additional $250 rebate ($500 for married couples filing jointly);
- Pass my 2022 budget to continue fiscal responsibility while putting a total freeze on college tuition increases;
- Continue to invest and grow our thriving economy by expanding existing businesses, hiring more employees, and welcoming new businesses to our state;
- Restore full funding to the State Water Plan for the first time in fifteen years;
- And invest in crucial infrastructure projects to restore and rebuild our roads and bridges.
But here's the thing, these plans are only the beginning. If we're going to continue to work to move our state forward and give everyone a chance to succeed, we have to win in November.
The next few months are crucial for our campaign, and I need to know I can count on your continued support. Our first end-of-month fundraising deadline of the new year is Monday at midnight and we set a goal to raise $15,000 to end the month on a high note. Will you make a donation of $5, or whatever you can, today?

Thank you,

Laura Kelly is one of the most vulnerable incumbent Democrats up for re-election in 2022. Extreme Republicans will do and spend whatever it takes to defeat Laura, so we're fighting back. Chip in our average online contribution of $26 to help us stay on track to win.
