Here's something you may not know about me, John.

Kevin McCarthy lives just a few streets from me -- his kids actually went to high school with mine.

Some see McCarthy on TV and buy into the bigshot persona.

But I'm not intimidated by him. Truth be told, it's hard to respect someone who has seen what I see each day but does nothing about it.

88% of my students receive free or reduced lunch.

Of those, 13% are homeless.

McCarthy has been in office for 15 years. And after 15 years nothing seems to change for struggling families.

Our Central Valley community is being left behind while Kevin McCarthy defends Trump and jockeys for a leadership position.

We deserve better, and that starts with unseating Kevin McCarthy:
