John,
In case you missed it: we want to congratulate Supreme Court Justice Breyer on his upcoming retirement. We will not forget his lasting legacy championing the constitutional right to reproductive freedom, nor will we forget his 2016 opinion dispassionately dissecting and demolishing a Texas law that closed nearly half the clinics in the state.
With an anti-choice majority on the Supreme Court and midterm elections months away, this is the right decision for the moment.
While his retirement can't fix the fact that the Supreme Court is poised to imminently overturn the precedent of Roe v. Wade, we should look at this vacancy as an opportunity to avoid further disaster down the road.
John, stand with us to encourage President Biden to fulfill his promise to nominate a Black woman to the Supreme Court.
On our journey to restoring the Supreme Court as a representative body of justice in this country, we must replace Breyer with a Black woman who believes in the constitutional right to an abortion.
We deserve action, and we deserve a Supreme Court that is in line with the prochoice majority of this country.
Biden's nomination is just one step, one way to keep pushing forward. We need your help urging him to nominate a Supreme Court Justice who will step up as a champion when we need it most.
Add your name here to help amplify our message.
Thank you for standing with us,
