This is huge.

Earlier today, news broke that Justice Stephen Breyer will retire from the
Supreme Court. It is absolutely critical we fill this spot on Mitch
McConnell’s packed Supreme Court with someone who will vote to protect our
democracy and the protections that matter most to everyday Americans.

court.

But let’s be clear: this vacancy will not fix the conservative imbalance
on the court. Mitch McConnell has spent the past five years systematically
undermining the integrity of the court by packing it with conservative
justices like Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh. We need to elect
Senators like Charles Booker that will expand the court and restore trust
in the institution.



Transforming our Supreme Court is possible but it’s going to take all of
us working together to elect Charles and expand our Democratic majority.
