Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer just announced he plans to step down at the end of the term, paving the way for President Biden to nominate a new justice! A liberal justice could serve on the court for DECADES, and would bring us one step closer to ending the ultra-conservative majority.

But it won’t be easy.

Mitch McConnell is intent on destroying democracy for his own political gain. He and his cronies in the Senate will do everything they can to obstruct the confirmation of a new liberal justice. McConnell has already stolen a Supreme Court appointment from President Obama and helped Trump ram through THREE ultra-conservative justices, reshaping the court for decades!

Now it's our turn. We can finally nominate a justice we believe in.

Republicans are closer than ever to overturning Roe v. Wade and implementing widespread voter suppression. Our next justice MUST protect voting rights, safeguard abortion access, and stop Republican attacks on our democracy.
