This month I enthusiastically endorsed Cheri Beasley. There is no one more prepared to flip this seat and do the hard work of representing North Carolina in the U.S. Senate.
As someone who knows what it takes to win, I can tell you Cheri’s got it. She’s honest and trustworthy and will always put in the hard work to fight for the people of North Carolina.
When I appointed Cheri Beasley to be the Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court, I said she was the right person at the right time. That is even more true today.
Cheri Beasley is the right person at the right time to be North Carolina’s next U.S. Senator.
As a judge, Cheri’s shown her independence and commitment to justice. As a mother, she understands the concerns of parents and families. And as a woman of faith, she believes in public service and working to ensure no North Carolinians are left behind.
Cheri understands that the status quo is not working for our families. She will fight to make desperately needed progress in the Senate — on health care, education, climate change, and so much more.
This is a historic moment for our great state, and I’m grateful for anything you can spare to help us turn this Senate seat blue.
