Racial Equity: “The Whole of Government Responsibility"
Thursday, February 3, 2022
10 am – 11 am ET

Join us for a lively discussion on the role of government in advancing racial equity on the one-year anniversary of Biden's Executive Order.

PolicyLink and Race Forward have been honored to work closely with the Biden Administration to inform his historic executive order making equity and racial justice “the responsibility of the whole of our government.” Biden is the first American President to formally embrace racial equity and while his administration has issued numerous executive orders and passed transformative recovery bills to invest in communities, families, and workers, there is much work yet to be done to realize racial equity.

As The Biden Administration now tackles passing national voting rights legislation, on the anniversary of the passage of the 15th Amendment, PolicyLink and Race Forward will co-host a discussion on February 3, at 10 am ET with special guests Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley and Nse Ufot of the New Georgia Project to reflect on the past year and the work ahead. We also released the report, Advancing Racial Equity in Year 2 of the Biden Administration, addressing the ongoing work to advance equity throughout federal agencies.
