Buckle up, folks!

I’m Alex, Team Ryan’s Research Director. It’s my job to keep track of how much our opponents are spending against us and it’s not looking good.

Ohio Republicans are currently leading the nation in campaign spending. We’re already on track to be the most expensive Senate race in Ohio’s history—and it’s only January!

I just dug into the numbers and take a look:

• Matt Dolan has contributed $10.5 million to his campaign
• Mike Gibbons is self-funding with $11.4 million of his own fortune
• Jane Timken put in $2 million of her own money into her campaign
• Both JD Vance and Josh Mandel (also millionaires) have multi-million dollar super PACs backing their bids

The millions already being spent in Ohio are UNPRECEDENTED ($40 million, are you kidding me?). But, we all know why: the Senate majority hinges on what happens here.

Can you chip in what you can so we counter the big money in this race and stop another GOP millionaire from buying their way into the Senate?

Here’s the reality: the GOP’s spending won’t slow down—it will only ramp up. We’ve got to prepare now to be ready for an all-out assault on our campaign ASAP.

Tim doesn’t have a multi-million dollar fortune—heck, he’s still paying off his mortgage—but he has something better: a team of dedicated supporters who chip in what they can. We’re counting on you, folks.
