Rise
with young Jews today by sending a message to Congress. Our safety
only comes when we #DefundHate.
Friend—
Last week, the FBI arrested a white supremacist for
a foiled plot to blow up a synagogue in Colorado.
As a young Jewish person, I know it’s not the first time Jews
have had to thrive in a world that isn’t safe for us. And it’s not
just Jews under attack in Trump’s America — it’s anyone and everyone
being targeted by a white nationalist agenda.
For the past six months, I’ve been a part of the Jeremiah
Fellowship — an organizing and leadership training for young Jews
across the country. My cohort and I are asking you to dream
with us today of a world where we all are free.
- We’re posting on social media today — follow the hashtags
#DefundHate
and #DreamingofFreedom.
- We’re driving messages to Congress before the budget votes in
November — help
us reach 1,000 messages by adding your voice here.
Two weeks ago Bend the Arc and allies disrupted Trump in
Pittsburgh to say Trump endangers Jews and all our communities.
Now we’re making sure Trump's policies of hate are
defunded.
Our solidarity will build a country where all of us can
be free and safe, no matter what we look like or where we come
from.
Help
us send 1,000 #DefundHate messages to Congress before they vote on our
future.
The #DefundHate campaign is about blocking financial resources
to prevent evil from happening, and is about standing up to white
supremacy and taking the first step towards creating the America we
believe in.
Thank you for supporting us and building a country where we are
all safe.
