From day one, we’ve been a 100% grassroots-funded campaign, and unlike our opponents from both parties, Morgan won’t take a dollar from corporate PACs.
That means that for us on the finance team, we spend a lot of time making sure we put that grassroots money to good use, knowing that it comes from folks who give what they can because they truly believe in Morgan’s progressive values.
But this is what we’re seeing: a steep drop-off in donations when you compare the month of December to the month of January. Take a look at our dashboard, John:
Our opponents are spending millions of dollars to blanket the TV airwaves, crisscross the state of Ohio holding events, and get their ads online in front of every voter they can. We’ll be honest: our fundraising isn’t where it needs to be to match them right now.
We have to fight back to make sure folks hear what Morgan has to say.
So that’s why we’re coming to you to ask, John, can you chip in ANY amount before our end-of-month fundraising deadline on January 31? It’ll go directly toward funding our campaign to send Morgan to the Senate.
