We asked if folks like you would sign on to endorse Peter’s campaign and the response has been overwhelming. That’s because Vermonters know Peter, they trust him, and they know we need him in the Senate.

Today, we’re excited to announce that, so far, over 700 grassroots supporters have signed on to be a part of Team Welch. That includes Vermonters from 114 towns and all 14 counties across the state. These endorsements are coming from teachers, nurses, students, mechanics, and farmers – they include young people, retired folks, new and life-long Vermonters. And it means so much to us that they’re all working together to make sure we elect Peter and bring his progressive voice to the Senate.

We’re hearing from Vermonters like Megan Sullivan, a social worker from East Calais, who said there are “so many critical issues at stake in this election from the climate crisis to preserving our democracy to ensuring families have the support they need to succeed. Peter understands that these challenges must be tackled head on.”

His mind and heart are in the people of Vermont, and I trust he will carry our will to the Senate, just as he has to the House for almost 20 years.”

We know that electing Peter to the Senate is how we lower the cost of prescription drugs, support working families, enact a Green New Deal, and protect our democracy.
