Breakng news out of Pennsylvania right now: Republicans just unveiled a plan to limit access to abortion — and pave the way to outlawing abortion altogether — via a constitutional amendment.

I’m going to break down what this means — but if you’re ready to stand up for Roe vs. Wade and abortion access in Pennsylvania, can you rush a $5 contribution to our campaign right now?

This is a huge step in Republicans’ attack on the right to choose in Pennsylvania.

They’ve tried multiple times to restrict abortion in Pennsylvania, and even ban it outright — and every single time, our Democratic Governor has used his veto pen to stop Republicans in their tracks and protect the right to choose in Pennsylvania.

Now, they want to see a Pennsylvania where “there is no right to an abortion or abortion funding” — and we know they’re going to do whatever it takes to make that happen.

Should this amendment proceed, our existing laws on abortion are in real danger of being struck down. Those are the stakes, and that’s the reality — but we can act.

Electing a Democratic Governor is the single most important thing we can do to protect the right to choose in Pennsylvania. We know the GOP is playing from the same playbook they used in Texas, Mississippi, and Tennessee — and the only way to stop them is to elect a Governor ready to protect the right to choose.
