Donald Trump as our president has left many of us feeling hopeless. But believe me, friends, there is hope.

Just this week, we flipped Virginia and Kentucky blue and elected Black leaders up and down the ballot. And in New York City, Attorney General Letitia James — New York’s first Black woman Attorney General who you helped us elect — just fined Trump two million dollars for breaking ethics codes.

So it may be the anniversary of Trump’s election, but our grassroots team is moving forward to a better tomorrow. After this week’s events, I am more determined than ever before to vote hate out and elect the next Black wave who can hold corrupt officials accountable and make our voices heard.
