Despite the GOP’s claims, there is little concrete evidence backing the presence of large scale election fraud in the United States. Throughout the years, election fraud commissions and investigations have been overwhelmingly fruitless, underscoring the fact that election mistakes are relatively rare.
If the GOP knows these facts, why are they pushing for entire police forces dedicated to squashing election fraud? The answer is that the GOP’s special police forces could be used to further the “stolen election” narrative, strengthening Trump’s platform.
