Yet Another Poll Has Biden Under 40 Percent Approval

Harvard/Harris has Biden’s approval at 39 percent (Harvard Harris). From Ed Morrissey: On no issue does Biden achieve even a plurality of approval. His best issue, in fact, is on COVID-19, where he scores 44/50. His worst is on inflation (31/61), followed closely by Afghanistan (30/58). Biden gets a majority disapproval on every single issue, while only scoring at or above 40% approval on three issues: the aforementioned COVID response, stimulating jobs (41/51) and government administration (40/53). The demos on job approval are simply brutal, as one might imagine from the topline result. The gender gap has entirely disappeared, with men (41/55) and women (38/52) showing an identical 14-point negative net (Hot Air). Meanwhile, from another poll: Poll numbers also indicated 71% believe the country is on the wrong track, while giving Biden a 43% job approval rating. Todd added that approval of Congress is split between Republicans and Democrats but that, at this point, a four or five-point advantage is likely needed for Democrats to maintain control in Congress. This is only the third time in our poll’s history, over 30 years, where we have had two tracks that were that off,” Todd said. “Two of our three most important indexes are sitting in shellacking territory right now for the Democrats. This is a dangerous place for the party and the president” (Washington Examiner).

Biden Administration Withdraws OSHA Vaccine Requirement

Following the Supreme Court decision. From the story: “The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration is withdrawing the vaccination and testing emergency temporary standard issued on Nov. 5, 2021, to protect unvaccinated employees of large employers with 100 or more employees from workplace exposure to coronavirus,” the agency said in a statement Tuesday, noting that the withdrawal will go into effect Wednesday.

Now the anti-unvaccinated obsession is deadly. From the story: DJ Ferguson, who has a hereditary heart condition that causes his lungs and heart to fill with blood and fluid, was denied the life-saving organ transplant by Boston Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. The hospital said it removed Ferguson from the donor list because all transplant recipients need to get the vaccine in order to ‘create both the best chance for successful operation and also the patient’s survival after transplantation.’
