John, let me briefly introduce myself:

I'm David Rivera, and I'm thrilled to be Jennifer's new Political Director. I've been an organizer with the Virginia Democratic Party and Jon Ossoff's Senate campaign – I'm excited to now be working for a great public servant in Jennifer and send her back to Congress for a third term.

There's a lot of work we need to be doing in these early weeks of 2022. Two new counties were added to VA-10 in redistricting, and we need the resources to introduce Jennifer to these new voters before the NRCC does it for us.

So to fund our field and online outreach, we're asking grassroots supporters like you for help. Can you chip in $10 or more before our January fundraising deadline? It's our first monthly benchmark of the election year, and we need to hit our goal of $10,000.

Effective and early voter contact makes a difference. Jennifer's district swung sixteen points to the right between the 2020 and 2021 elections, and it happened because Virginia Republicans worked to set the narrative from day one.

To stop further Republican momentum in 2022, we're making sure that we beat them to the punch in building a field operation and creating a strong base of volunteers. But to do that, we need to hit all of our fundraising goals.
