After an independent redistricting commission redrew California’s congressional maps, Barbara learned she’d now be running in the newly drawn 12th District.

This kicked off our campaign for the midterm elections later this year — when everything Barbara’s fought for and passed into law will be on the line.

Republicans raised $140 million in 2021 to flip seats from blue to red and take back control of the House majority.

With the speaker’s gavel in Kevin McCarthy’s hands, we could be facing a wave of laws restricting abortion access, voting rights, gun safety efforts, and more.
