Your Impact Update
==============

Welcome to World Stories, a five-minute read to inform, inspire and empower you to act. Not only will you learn about children’s needs in countries around the globe, but we’ll also show how we join hands with their communities, helping families overcome poverty and injustice.

In this edition, read some achievements donors here in Canada have helped make possible over the past year. Enter the realities of millions of pregnant women around the globe, through our Pressure Baby video. And check out our new My World Vision spot on YouTube! What’s your vision for the world in 2022?

Here in Canada, caring people are making a difference in the lives of children around the world. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve recently done together!

- 14,558 metric tons of food were distributed in Uganda, providing essential nutrients to families in dire need.
- 14,935 parents and caregivers of young children in Myanmar were trained in safe water, sanitation and hygiene techniques.
- 46 sessions were held in Mali, to foster dialogue among faith leaders, government and communities on the elimination of child marriage and sexual and gender-based violence.

In too many countries, pregnant women and newborn babies face multiple threats to life and health. Setting them up for a good start can make lifetimes of difference. Our Pressure Baby documentary tells the story, through the journey of a young mom named Zin.
